SAFETY AND EMERGENCY PROCEDURE TRAINING ACCORDING TO REGULATION (EU) NO. 965/2012 PART ORO.FC
The safety and emergency procedures vary from aircraft to aircraft and operator to operator, so it is necessary for pilots to complete specific Safety and Emergency Procedure Training for new airlines or new aircraft types.
Such courses are required by the Regulation (EU) No. 965/2012 and EASA Part ORO.FC.220 and ORO.FC.230 for both newly hired pilots as well as experienced pilots during their recurrent training. The course familiarizes participants with the specific features of the aircraft type, and the operators equipment and procedures to adopt during normal and emergency situations.
